Toshiba TG01 Unique Windows Mobile UI is a Bad Thing

I’m going to disagree with my writing partner, Bryan, on this point. More unique proprietary interfaces for Windows Mobile is a bad thing. We already have TouchFlo from HTC, Panels from Sony-Ericsson, & one or two others that slip my mind. Microsoft needs to fix Windows Mobile’s UI experience so vendors don’t feel compelled to fix it in yet another unique difficult to support way that fragments the market and user experience.

The Toshiba TG01 is a direct competitor to the Apple iPhone. The device is 2.5 mm thinner than its U.S. competitor and has a touch screen of up to 4.1 inches! Other features include a 3.2 megapixel camera, HSDPA, Wifi and GPS. The memory is 512MB but on the tight side.
