Jason Fuller noted that a change in Microsoft Virtual Earth (the engine that powers local.live.com) had a change that broke the find business feature in Virtual Earth Mobile for Windows Mobile devices. I have motorola Q (verizon). My 1.68v worked fine for almost a year. Recently I tried it and am getting the same ERROR message as the folks above: Does anybody have a solution or is this a dead issue?

I am having the same problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, cleaned out the reg. as best I could, even hard reset the device. I get the same “format exception,” even if I do a database search, and it happens so quick that it strikes me as odd.
Mee too, same issue with v1.68 … Does someone have an answer / a patch / a mail address to flood ? 😉
